Question: How many people are assigned to a patron saint?

God’s answer:

It is a one man nation.

Meaning: It is a one-to-one ratio.

Question: What happens then if one prays to a saint who is not his/her patron saint, which is mostly the case?

God’s answer:

Communion of saints

" The communion of saints (in Latin, communio sanctorum), when referred to persons, is the spiritual union of the members of the Christian Church, living and the dead, those on earth, in heaven, and, for those who believe in purgatory, those also who are in that state of purification.

They are all part of a single "mystical body", with Christ as the head, in which each member contributes to the good of all and shares in the welfare of all." 7

This means that we can pray to any saint.

Question: If we are reborn in Heaven and we don’t remember our previous life, what happens when we pray to a specific saint? Is the actual saint the one who is hearing and answering our prayer? If so, how do they know who they are?

God’s answer:

Specified saint

There is secondary knowledge of who is who.

Meaning: They have no personal memory of their life on earth but are told who they used to be. So, yes, the saint whom one prays to is the one who responds.
